2 Order of operations (PEMDAS)
Picture of PEMDAS Order of operations is really easy to learn. PEMDAS stands for parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. This means that if you have a number sentence and there is exponents, and subtraction, and multiplication you would do the exponents first then the multiplication then the subtraction because that is the order of PEMDAS.

3 Tree Diagrams Picture of a tree diagram Description
For a tree diagram you would have one main number. Which in this case is 36. The you have 2 sub number. Which in this case 18. And you would have two numbers leading from one of the 18’s, in this case it is 9 and 9. Leading off of the other 18 there would be 3 numbers. In this case they are 6,6 and 6. A tree diagram tells you what the top number can lead off from.
