11 How do we reframe our concept of culture and civilization for the 21 st century? Different cultures exist within any given civilization. Each culture may express their distinctness in language, history, religion, story and the arts. Although each civilization uses fine arts, the expressions are distinct for each culture.

12 Universal Language = Fine Arts? Language : noun the system of words or signs that people of different cultures use to express thoughts and feelings to each other Universal Language: noun a constructed term used to discuss the commonality of the expressions of art, music, dance, and theatre in all cultures.

13 How can we reframe our thinking about culture? How are the beliefs, stories, histories, religions and lived experiences of our students similar and different? How would we use this information to create Fine Arts lessons and projects?
