3.  Scientists believe that rapid technological change has been destroying jobs faster than it is creating them.  They believe that technology boosts productivity makes societies wealthier, but they think that it can also have a dark side: technological progress is eliminating the need for many types of jobs and leaving the typical worker worse off than before.

Technology training can also have a negative impact on employees.  Some employees are reluctant to change.  In addition, some employees are technologically challenged, wherein it‘s difficult for them to grasp new programs and other forms of technology. Even when you provide adequate training, some employees might prefer old-fashioned methods of communication, such as telephones, notes and a written day planner.

7.  Since the new technology increases the productivity of the high-skilled workers, the high-tech firms can increase the wages of these workers paid by firms that did not implement the new technology, at least in the short run.  Jobs using new technologies will become more valuable because of new technology.
