8 Name of Museum The Ancient Egyptians used three sources of technology to build The Great Pyramids. First, Ancient Egyptians had to make the site even and flat. They used a level which is two sticks joined together forming a 90 degree angle. Second, Ancient Egyptians had to move the stones. They used levers to set the stones in place and to separate the stones and also used a giant ramp to pull the stones with rope. Last, Ancient Egyptians used simple tools to build the Pyramids. They used tools like stone hammers reed baskets, copper chisels, and drills. Clearly, the Ancient Egyptians used three sources of technology to build The Great Pyramids.
