6 MEET OUR DISTRICTS Archuleta School District- Linda Reed, Superintendent “How might we find pathways and options for students to graduate when they haven’t demonstrated that they are “on track” to meet graduation requirements by the end of 11 th grade?”

7 MEET OUR DISTRICTS Denver Public Schools- Kim Poast, Executive Director Office of College and Career Readiness & John Albright, Deputy Chief of Staff - “How might we best approach issues of systems change and change management related to instruction and policy in order to support a new set of graduation requirements in DPS?”

8 MEET OUR DISTRICTS St. Vrain- Tori Teague- Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment “How might we design and implement rigorous criteria for students to demonstrate academic competency in English Language Arts and Math through non-test- based pathways (capstone, internship, etc.)?”

17 Wrap Up (5 Min) Each group gets 1 min to share what they’re walking away with Wrap up- –Thanks to the districts who shared with us today, and the participants for bringing their time and thinking to bear on the challenges facing these districts –This event is just one example of how CEI and CDE partner to support local school districts throughout Colorado –Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything we can do to support any of you as you think about your next steps in your local contexts.
