2  Charles Manson (Nov 12 1934)  Had a horrible childhood.  Sent to a Correctional Facility at age 13 for armed robbing  Later sent to jail for pimping in 1960.  More than half his life was spent in jail.

3  After being released in March 21 1967 from prison he moved to San Francisco  He learned how to play the guitar while in jail  Took on the hippie image and he felt like he belonged  While in San Francisco he meets Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys.

4  The Manson family was made up of mostly women  Almost all of them were part of the “flower child” movement  Young teens not knowing what they want to do in life

5  Helter Skelter was the doomsday plan Charles Manson predicted(named after the Beatles song)  Manson was obsessed with the Beatles, he believed the white album was a message to him

6  Manson predicted that “The Blacks of America would rise up and over take the county”  His plan was to provoke the race war and then hide away, once they were over him and his followings would rise again and take control.

7  Gray Hinman was a friend of family  Manson made enemies with one Bernard Crowe, Manson needed money  He was told Hinman had a lot of money from inheritance  Held hostage by Beausoleil, Mary Bunner and Susan Atkins for days then killed

8  August 9 1969  Manson ordered Charles Watson, Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Patricia Krenwinkel to break into the Tates house(formerly the Melcher residence, who rejected Mason’s music compilation)  The victims were Sharon Tate,Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, and Jay Sebring

9  August 10 1969  This time Manson came with his followers Leslie Van Houten, Steve Grogan, Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Charles Watson  Leno LaBianca was successful Grocery company owner, his wife was Rosemary LaBianca

10  The whole Manson was asserted the Ranch they were staying at for a auto theft ring  While in Jail someone talked to their cellmates saying “you can never do enough killing it feels better each time” the cellmate talked to the prison grad
