3 Fellowships for Study Graduate Study (MA after MA) Non-renewable grant for 1 academic year (9 months) Stipend $16,000 Tuition and fees up to $30,000 Health insurance PhD Study Non-renewable grant for 1 academic year Stipend $16,000 Tuition and fees up to $40,000 Health insurance

4 Fellowship for Music Study Music Study Non-renewable grant for 1 academic year (9 months) Stipend $16,000 Tuition and fees up to $30,000 Health insurance Deadline of application 31 st October including CD of recordings Specific music selection committee  Music audition followed by interview

5 Fellowship for Research Non-renewable grant for 12 months Stipend of – $24,000 for doctoral research – $40,000 for post-doctoral research Health insurance

6 Fellowship for Biomedical engineering research Henri Benedictus Fellowships For a post-doctoral researcher, if not Belgian, 2 years affiliation with a Belgian university is required Non-renewable grant for 1 year Stipend of $40,000 Health insurance included

7 Elgibility requirements For all programs Be a Belgian citizen For Henri Benedictus Fund fellowship you should be affiliated as a researcher at least for two years with a Belgian university, if you are not a Belgian citizen Have a Belgian University degree (second cycle) Have an outstanding academic record Have a good command in English (TOEFL iBT 100/120 or 7,5 IELTS) Application limits No more than 4 years after Masters degree for graduate study fellowship No more than 3 years of doctoral and post-doctoral research

10 Application file Online Application file due by October 31 Personal and Educational information Autobiographical essay (of no more than one page) A carefully prepared statement the reasons why you wish to study in the U.S. a plan of the studies/research you propose to undertake the benefits you expect to obtain from such study/research Your choice of American Universities Study : minimum 3 different US universities although we recommend to apply at least to 5-6 different US universities Research : one US university research unit – letter of invitation or affiliation

11 Decision process December Files are distributed among the members of jury to be assessed notification of date of the selection interview End of January B.A.E.F. selection interviews Early February Final decisions are made for research and study Study: conditional to acceptance at US university
