2.  TransAction is a voice for the Transgender community. It’s mission is to promote visibility, unity, and safety through advocacy and education. TransAction celebrates gender diversity by building bridges between communities.

3.  A month-long series of activities led by TransAction that aim to celebrate and raise awareness of the transgender community in Utah.  One of the main aspects for the month is to increase understanding of transgender people who are often misrepresented.  Transgender is a term used to describe a broad spectrum of people who experience or express their gender differently from what most people expect. Transgender Awareness Month events are a place for everyone to meet each other and celebrate our diversity.

8. As part of our service learning, TransAction asked us to plan one of the events for T.A.M. We decided to bring the community together with presenting an all inclusive Open Mic to celebrate diversity.
