5 Soccer should be enjoyed
Leisure Exercise Competition Social Out of the ordinary Never played before Play all the time Soccer should always be enjoyed, no matter the reason for playing. It is important to play the sport with like minded people to get the most enjoyment out of it. If you are on the soccer field to enjoy yourself and socialize, you probably don’t want to play with the person who is out there to be competitive and vise versa. What ever the reason you are out there, it makes me happy.

6 Soccer Rules 11 players per team
The Number of players per team is 11, 10 field players and 1 goalie

7 Soccer Rules Out of bounds
Out of bounds is when the ball is played out of the field of play by accident or on purpose.

8 Soccer Rules Throw in A throw in happens when the ball is played out of bounds on one of the side lines. Which ever team did not touch the ball last gets the throw in. You must have both feet on the ground when you throw, it must be over head and both hands have to equally throw the ball.

9 Soccer Rules Penalty kick
A penalty kick is when the defense commits a foul inside their own 18 yard box. The offensive team is awarded a penalty kick on the 12 yard dot, where it is the shooter vs the goalie for the shot.

10 Soccer Rules Free Kick A free kick is awarded to a team after a foul or handball on the other team that is not in the 18 yard box.

11 Soccer Rules Goal kick A goal kick is given to the defending team when the offensive team play’s the ball out of bounds through the end line near the goal. A goal kick can be taken from anywhere inside the 6 yard box.

12 Soccer Rules Corner kick

15 Soccer Rules Offside’s The yellow player is offside's
Offside’s is determined by where the last defender is standing. If an offensive player receives a ball on the goal side of the last defender with out first being on the non goal side of the defender as a ball is played through.

16 Soccer Strategies Defense Mid field Forward/Striker
There are 3 main positions on the soccer field, being a defender, mid fielder, or a forward. The defense’s job is to defend the goal and not let the other team shoot or score. The mid fields job is to provide transition of the ball from defense to offense, and support both defense and offense with being attached or attaching. The forward/strikers job is to score goals. Not saying anyone else cannot score but the primary purpose for a forward is to push forward and try and score.

17 Soccer Strategies 4-4-2 5-3-2 4-3-3 3-5-2
There are many different ways to configure the team on the field. The first number is the number of defenders. Second number is mid fielders, and third number is forwards. The players also do not have to be in straight lines like you might seen in foosball. The Defense can be staggered, as well as the mid field or forwards.
