2. What are Copyrighted Images A copyright is a legal protection used for intellectual property such as writings, pictures, graphics and music. The United State Copyright Act of 1976 gives creators the right of ownership from the moment the piece is created. Images that are copyrighted include, but are not limited to, drawings, photographs and computer-generated graphics. The protection provided under the Copyright Act gives artists complete domain over their images
