5 TAG Lines; an artist’s signature; simplest and most prevalent type of graffiti.

9 THROW-UP Easy and quick design, usually an outline and filled color like bubble letters. Many artists will have a Tag and a Throw-up in order to have a recognizable logo; sometimes these are done quickly and then the artist leaves before noticed (or getting caught.)

50 LEGAL WALL Sometimes called, “Permission Walls,” give artists a space to paint and is a way of controlling unwanted graffiti. They help get graffiti lovers off the private properties of fences, walls, etc, making it legal to paint here.
