2 What if?  Everyone in the world spoke the same language?  Nobody disagreed about anything?  Nothing was ever limited,ever ?  There was no system of government?

10  Local council – Mayor

11 11 Local council Libraries and community centres Childcare services Rubbish and recycling Roads, footpaths and cycleways Local parks, pools and ovals Town planning Meals on wheels

12 Statues:  In groups of 3 or 4 Create a frozen statue/tableau or quick role play to represent three different services we have talked about today. We’re going to try and guess each service and which level of government is responsible for it.

Work out where your house is on each map. 4. Colour in the local government area and state or federal electorate in which you live. 5. Write the name(s) of your democratic representatives on each of your maps (local, state, federal) 6. What else can you find out?
