5 Purpose/Non-Purpose Purpose: To continue the process of reflecting and planning toward our individual and grant goals; to discuss successes and challenges. Non-Purpose: To solve all of our challenges.

6 Add your name to the sign-in sheet. Please set cell phones to vibrate. Feel comfortable stepping outside when necessary. Use the “Parking Lot” for your questions. We appreciate your name tags.

7 Our Norms We will start and end on time. We will bring food (healthy and sinful). We will talk and collaborate respectfully. We will keep Laquey at the forefront. We will be receptive to learning from each other. We will address our comfort needs. We will introduce researched best practices. We will provide/develop materials for content area teachers.

10 Sharing our Successes In your group: Determine who will go first: Whoever has the next birthday will be 1, etc. First person speaks for 1 min about his/her success Group members, listen. Some of you will be asked to share what one of your group members has said If the person stops talking before time is called, group members ask questions Repeat with person 2, etc.

11 Discussing our Challenges Silently reread your response to free-writing prompt 3 (my biggest challenge is…) Turn this free-write into a question you would like your group to discuss

13 Debrief from Protocol How did the consultancy work for the groups? What should the entire group hear? What problems are we facing? Throughout the day, please add challenges in the form of questions to the “challenges” chart.
