8 Conservation Efforts WCS has also studied and worked to protect the species in Mongolia, Afghanistan, and China Some of our field projects include creating public education campaigns to stop the purchase of snow leopard pelts, hosting training workshops

Estimating there are 3,500 to 7,000 are left in the wild
