1 American Culture Collage Project Due Date: Monday, October 5th Create a collage, at least 11 x 14 Use pictures (words are acceptable if part of image) Include ACCEPTABLE images (do not include images which are not appropriate for school) No blank spaces – cover your collage with images! Include images to show each of the elements of culture: beliefs/customs, art/music, languages, religions, food, clothes, sports, holidays, traditions, and beliefs about government (10 points each)

14 How do cultures develop? Innovation/Invention: about 10% Borrowing/diffusion: about 90% Most cultures today are made up of ideas from other cultures. We don’t live in a vacuum!
