3. What is your reaction to the image ?

4. My first reaction was shocked when I realized what was going on that the firefighters are taking their time and stopping for a clothes sale rather than going to help the people and put out the fire. When it comes to our world we are slow to act or do anything when animals and environments are in serious danger.

5. What statement is the image making? (purpose)

6. What statement is the image making? (purpose) We would not be slow in an emergency we can not afford to without consequences. Firefighters would not be slow in an emergency, a fire or wreck, so why should we be slow in acting for the planet during global warming and other world wide crisis? It is saying that we should act now for the planet.

7. What is point of view?

8. The point of view is from the people whose building is on fire because they are in an emergency and need help. But the firefighters are not in a hurry to fix or help in any they are taking their time getting to the fire.

9. Logical appeal? (Logos)

10. The firefighters are shopping when they should be helping the people and stopping the fire. Instead they are taking their time in an emergency. Saying that we are acting slow in a world crisis of our being destroyed.

11. Ethical appeal? (Ethos)

12. It is credible because it comes from the WWF organization.

13. Emotional Appeal? (Pathos)

14. You feel sorry for the people in the building because the firefighters are being stupid and not getting to the burning building to help them. It also makes one angry at the firefighters for not doing their job that they are supposed to do.

15. What is omitted from the image?

16. What is omitted form the image? Cars and people on the side walk, the police would probably be at the building along with an ambulance and other firefighters. But the image gives the feeling of all the responsibility of being of the firefighters because there is no one else in the image and they are not doing any thing to help. This is saying that it is our own individual responsibility to help save the planet from at state of crisis.
