2 ICT@ Year 8 Lesson 2 – Band Manager Creating a basic model. We are going to look at creating a basic spreadsheet model for our band. Things to think about: 1)What do formulas start with? 2)How you add up a range of cells?

3 ICT@ Year 8 Lesson 2 – Band Manager Reorganise information into a more useful form Open Tour Figures and read the email from the band, which contains some financial information about their tour. The information is not very clear, though. First, enter the figures in the email into the table below it. You should find figures for Price per unit, Unit sales, Cost per unit and Units bought..

4 ICT@ Year 8 Lesson 2 – Band Manager Construct a basic model Follow the instructions on the task sheet. You can now copy and paste the figures from your table into the correct cells in the spreadsheet. Select the figures you want to copy, then chose Edit > Copy (or right-click on the selected figures and choose Copy) Then go to the spreadsheet and select the cells you want to paste the figures into, and choose Edit > Paste. Can you fill in the correct formulas?.

Could you include: 1)A breakdown of the costs? 2)Where their money came from? 3)Suggestions for the band based on your GOAL SEEK answers 4)How well their tour did overall
