4 Cohousing under development in 2015 Preparing to start on site – Woodside (London), Cannock Mill (Colchester), Open House Project (Sheffield), K1 Cambridge. At the planning stages – Bridport Cohousing Land identified – Norwich Cohousing, Bristol Cohousing and Chapel Town Cohousing (Leeds).

6 UKCN New Plans for the Future Ambitious action learning project to explore new routes to develop cohousing (Big Lottery Accelerating Ideas funding for ) Bring all cohousing into membership Professional & Property Services website – forum to attract renters/purchasers & find the right support Continue to develop fit for purpose practical resources and informative learning events Proactive lobbying strategy – taking key messages from this afternoon final session to government & others Support the development of the Community led Housing Alliance

7 Size of UK Sharing Economy UK consumers benefit from £4.6 billion of savings and earnings from the Sharing Economy. 33 million Brits (64% UK adults) are already sharing, & a further 14 million would consider it. 19% of people who share do it to help people in their neighbourhood. Good neighbours add 20% to the value of homes
