APA Criteria for Grade 9 Essays Title Page Abstract (Not included in Grade 9) In-Text Citations Reference Page

Title Page Example Flush left at the top of the page, and a page number that is flush right at the top of the page. The title page should include the title of your paper, your name and your school affiliation

In-Text Citations (One Author) One Author: When a book, article, or other source lists only one author, simply provide the author’s last name followed by the publication date. Examples: students demonstrated solid understanding of the concepts and information (Jones, 2001). Jones (2001) found that students demonstrated a solid understanding of the concepts and information.

In-Text Citations (Two Authors) Two Authors: When a source lists two authors, your in-text citations should provide the last names of both authors and the publication date. Examples:...later studies demonstrated a similar effect (Ross & Hudson, 2004). Ross and Hudson (2004) found a similar effect in later studies.

The Reference Page On the References Page The last page of your paper is entitled References. Order of entries: List all references in alphabetical order. Each reference is listed only once. Authors: List the author's last name, followed by a comma and initials separated by periods and spaces. When listing two to six authors, place commas between them and use an ampersand (&) before the last author's name. If the number of authors exceeds six, list the first six followed by "et al." (see the Senden example). For edited books with chapters written by individual authors, list the authors of the chapter first, then the year, and the chapter title, followed by "In", the editors' names, then (Eds.), and the book title (see the Phillips example).

Is Outsourcing jobs to the developing countries a good our bad practice? 4.Is law a bit too soft on the celebrities? 5.Are humans responsible for extinction of animal species from the planet? 6.Does Media censorship benefit people in society? 7.Is the practice of animal testing justified?
