PART 1---Brief introduction Leslie Cheung (September 12 th 1956 ~ April 1 st 2003), his nickname called‘elder brother’( 哥哥 ), was a great singer, actor, record producer and film director which come from Hong Kong. He was considered as one of founding father of Canto Pop( 粤语流行音 乐 ), he had made a huge contribution to Chinese record and film industry.

4. PART 1---Brief introduction In 2010, he was voted as the reason number one of “loving Hong Kong”. CNN considered Leslie Cheung as the “Most Beautiful Man from Hong Kong Cinema” and one of “Asia’s 25 Greatest Actor of All Time.”

PART2---His achievement In 1977, Leslie borrowed 20 HK dollars from his servant and signed up for “the Asian Music Contest”held by Rediffusion Television(RTV), he won the second prize by singing Don Mclean’s “American Pie”, then he signed a contract with RTV and began his career in the entertainment industry.
