5 What we do… Collaborate with Donor Alliance for the 2014 TMCA Donation Summit – Assist Donor Alliance with planning and content of the summit Work as liaisons between Donor Alliance and The Medical Center of Aurora – Bi-monthly meetings with Donor Alliance team

6 What we do… An in house resource for the doctors and nurses caring for the donor patient – Make sure the nurses and doctors understand the process – What is required for efficient management of the donor patient to optimize organ function to increase transplant success Debrief meetings to discuss donor cases – What went well, what didn’t – Process improvements needed – Follow up with staff involved in donation process

7 2015 Donor Ambassador Training Goal: To develop a clinically based training program and curriculum for clinical staff (RN’s/RT’s) to become more knowledgeable of what is required to support the organ donation process 20 people attended this training
