CONSULTING footer2 Background CEOS CLASP (“CEOS Landsat And SRTM Project”)  ICP supported ICEDS (Phases 1 & 2) in 2004 as UK input into CEOS CLASP initiative  CLASP (2004-2005) coordinated by CEOS WGISS  CLASP objectives: –assist UN to provide developing countries with internet access to global mosaics of Landsat TM and SRTM data –encourage international agencies to host ‘continental’ datasets and make them available through the CEOS EO portal –make use of OGC interoperability standards ICEDS Phases 1 & 2 - achievements  Developed and established ICEDS WMS/WCS web service  Hosted SRTM and Landsat 5 TM data (Europe & Africa)  Produced guidelines document, including software scripts
