Poverty is a state in which people lack a certain amount of money.
Absolute poverty is a state in which people lack the necessary means for survival.
The reason for on going poverty is the culture of poverty.

In the end it leads to much more stress for poor families
Through the culture of poverty many people feel inferior due to the lack of resources. This feeling of inferiority is then passed from generation to generation.

Homelessness is caused by poverty and lack of jobs for those who are under educated.

An estimated 50 million americans struggle to make ends meet.
This many people growing up in poverty will not have access to higher education.
