2. What determines Human development index? The Human Development Index (HDI) is a comparative measure of life expectancy, literacy, education and standards of living for countries worldwide. Countries fall into two categories of HDI –Less Developed country (LDC) –More Developed country (MDC)

3. Geo Terms Per Capita Income- Income per person; most often measured by dividing a nation’s GDP ( the total value of goods and services produced by a nation) by its population. Life Expectancy-The average number of years that a person can expect to live. Adult literacy rate- the percentage of persons aged 15 and over who can read and write.
