2 Computer Applications  Standard 1.0 - The student will evaluate the impact and applications of computers in society. ◦ 1.1 - Analyze the impact of computer technology on individual lives and the business world. ◦ 1.2 - Explore emerging computer technologies. ◦ 1.4 - Explore the use of computers in business, recreation, and entertainment. Student Performance Indicator: The student: Compares and contrasts the benefits and limitations of computer technology in business, education, recreation, and entertainment. Sample Performance Task : In assigned work groups, research and identify ways technology affects each team member.  Standard 9.0 - The student will examine the new and emerging technologies. ◦ 9.2 - Compare and contrast potential changes in technologies, lifestyles, and employment needs. Student Performance Indicator: The student: Predicts and assess emerging trends in computers, communication, and business.

3  Before the start of the game, please print out your Scorecard.Scorecard.  Game will start on the Emerging Technologies Game Board.Emerging Technologies Game Board  Use the Arrows on the bottom of the page to navigate through the Game.  The Home Button will always bring you back to the Gameboard.  Once you have completed all 20 Questions, Tally up your Scorecard, and we will see which Team wins! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!

4 TEAM 1 TEAM 2 FINAL TALLY: Each team will earn 1 point for every correct answer. Write down the number of each question that is answered correctly in your Team’s tracking area. At the end of the game, total the number of questions your team got correct, and enter your Score in the FINAL TALLY box. TO PRINT: 1. Click the Escape Key 2. In the top left hand corner, click the Office Button, Then Print, Click on Slide, and Enter Slide 4. 3. Pick up your printed Scorecard at the Printer!
