PRAYER WARFARE Ephesians 6:10-20 Text: 6:18-20 Theme: Shower our lives and ministry with prayer power.

CV for Prayer: Prayer is our way of experiencing a relationship with God, both personally and corporately. It changes us and unleashes the power of the Holy Spirit.

I. PRAYER FORMS A. We are spiritual beings in a visible world.

B. Prayer is the language of our hearts.

Pray in the spirit at all times. Ephesians 6:18

In the same way the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. Romans 8:26-28

Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

II. PRAYER DEPENDENCE A. Need awareness.

B. Prayer dependence.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

III. PRAYER WARFARE A. A war declaration

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. I Peter 5:8

Exodus 17:8-15

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15:7
