2  In your notebook:  Contrast the view of the Spanish and the English on religion.  What happened to Spanish exploration after the defeat of their armada?  What is an armada?  When and where was the first English colony established?  How many attempts did it take to establish a colony and what happened to the colony?

3  Create a Bubble Map  The center circle has: “Growth of Jamestown”  You will need at least two supporting bubble that list the effect of the growth of the Jamestown Colony
