2  Several different types of music were invented in the South.  Jazz  Bluegrass  Country and Western  This music are part of the southern tradition.

11  The South is known for their Hospitality.  So what does that mean?  Polite (Not just please and thank you) ▪ Yes Ma’am ▪ Open doors  Friendly ▪ Wave to you ▪ Chit Chat  Helpful ▪ Not to busy to help ▪ Help a neighbor in need

12  The south has festivals that many people travel to see.  Mardi Gras  Jazz Fest  The south also has a variety of festivals and other events.  Harvest festivals  Church socials and Picnics  Fairs  Historical reenactments
