History Sagadi Nature School has been operating as a centre of environmental education since April, 1999 and provides the following: Curriculum based programs for students Environmental training for teachers, nature guides and others interested Recreational programs for the visitors of the Forest Centre Exhibitions, competitions, trips to the nature and other projects.

3. Purpose The main purpose of the Nature School is to provide direct sensuous, creative or researching experience; to lead to discoveries, new knowledge, respect and care towards nature and environment; to create an emotional connection with nature.

4. Principles The student programs and trainings correspond to the curricula and trends in environmental education: learning by doing using all senses discovering, research problem solving environmental games outdoor learning
