2 Dictators Of WWII Adolf Hitler. Benito Mussolini. Hideki Tojo.
Joseph Stalin.

3 Nazism. Nazism is a form of socialism featuring racism and expansionism and to have obedience for a strong leader.

4 Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, He was the Nazi Germany leader during Hitler initiated World War Two. He also oversaw fascist policies and caused over millions of deaths. He believed in Nazism and wanted to create a supreme race. He blamed the Jews and saw them as weak people. He tried to get rid of Jews by sending them to concentration camps. Many Jews were killed and experimented on. They were also put into labor. Adolf’s reign ended on April 30, 1945 when he took his own life.

5 Fascism. an authoritarian and nationalistic right- wing system of government and social organization. Or Extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.

6 Benito Mussolini. Benito Mussolini was born July 29, Benito believed in fascism. In Mussolini created the “Fascist Party” in Italy. When he was creating the party he was basically creating his power. He then made himself dictator before World War Two. Prior becoming a dictator, Benito was following his fathers steps in politics. But he was expelled because he was in support of World War One. On April 28, 1945 Benito and his wife were shot and they died.

7 Militarism. A belief that a country should maintain a strong military capability and be prepared to use it aggressively to defend or promote something or someone.

8 Hideki Tojo. Hideki Tojo was born on December 30, Tojo believed in militarism. Hideki was known as a Japanese Prime Minister. As a minister, he urged an alliance with Germany and Italy. The US naval forces received a surprise attack ordered by Tojo. (not Pearl Harbor) In his lifetime Tojo was also a political and military leader for Japan. In 1944 the direction of war took a turn. On December 23, Hideki was accused of war crimes by the allies and was hung.

9 Communism. A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned.

10 Joseph Stalin. John Stalin was born on December 18, John believed in communism. He controlled the Soviet Union for over twenty years and instituted a reign of terror. While he was terrorizing, he modernized Russia and defeated Nazism. During World War Two, Stalin’s red army defeated Nazi Germany. He forced rapid industrialization and the collection of agriculture. In the 1950’s, John’s health was getting bad. When Stalin uncovered an assassination plan, he told an undercover policeman to investigate the Communist party. Before they even started to investigate Stalin died on March 5, 1953.

11 Nazism vs. Communism. Similarities: Differences: Both political ideas.
They both oppose each other. They were both popular/attributed to someone. They both have a dictator controlling it. Differences: Nazism focuses on a racist society whereas Communism focuses on a classless society. Communism is a social economic idea. Nazism is a totalitarian idea.

12 Fascism vs. Militarism. Similarities: Differences:
Fascists like a strong military too like the militarism people. They both have a dictator type thing. The people were obedient to their leaders. Differences: Fascism is like a combo of totalitarianism and capitalism. Militarism is just like a strong military. Fascism was in Italy controlled by Mussolini and militarism was in Japan controlled by Tojo.
