Writing (Step 2) Now this is the step where the writing begins. You take all of your ideas from the prewriting web, storyboard, and outline and begin to write your story or report. This might take you a while to write all of your story.

Revising (Step 3) In this step you will take your rough draft and read it over with a partner. Your partner will give you suggestions and comments on your writing without being critical. In this step you will only be concerned with the story details and flow as it is read. We will not worry about spelling or grammar errors. Then you can add or delete anything pertaining to your story.

Editing (Step 4) In this step you will be concerned with any spelling and grammar mistakes. After going over your story on your own, next you will get another partner to help edit the story. This partner will look for any mistakes and mark them for you to correct afterwards. This can be very helpful because you can easily miss your own mistakes.

Publishing Part1 (Step5) In this last and final step in writing there is two parts. The first part is the rewriting or final draft. You will take all your revisions and editing suggestions and rewrite your paper. You can either hand write your paper or you can type it. This should be done carefully so that it is written correctly and neatly.

Publishing Part 2 (Step 5) This final step is optional. After you have finished your final draft you can add a decorative cover to your paper. You also have the option of adding any illustrations to help enhance your story. This makes your paper complete.
