4 Tribe Traditions  Almost all Indian tribes have ceremonies like the “Sun Dances” and “Buffalo Dances”  The Shoshone tribe had Pine nut festivals in fall

5 What did they eat? The Shoshone tribe ate berries, buffalo, roots, pine nuts, rabbit and antelope they grew most of this by them selves.

6 Where did they live? The Shoshone are nomadic (They moved a lot) so here are a few places they went. Northern Utah, Southern Utah, Eastern Utah, California, Wyoming,Nevada, Arizona and Montana.

7 How did They dress? The Shoshone wore a lot of unique things like The girls wore almost water proof shoes! The men wore a loin cloth in summer and rabbit pants and shirt in winter. In summer the girls wore an basic apron and in the winter they wore the same as the boys.

10 How big is the tribe? The tribe was 8000 people all together. The tribe was split up into three groups the western Shoshone tribe, Eastern Shoshone tribe and the Southern Shoshone tribe.

11 Extra Information The Shoshone Indians were called the Snake Indians. Sacagawea is part of the Shoshone tribe.
