3. Art of Gardening You will start with seeds from a packet. It’s best to “start” the seeds in a starter box in the house. It will usually take 10 to 14 days for the seeds to germinate.

4. Lots of Work Ahead… While your seeds are germinating, get your plot ready for planting. You may need to till. You will need to hoe. You should use fertilizer to get the soil ready for the plants.

5. The Fun Begins Seedlings should be getting little leaves. Make rows in the plot. Read the directions on how far to place seedlings apart. Plant the seedlings into the rows. WATER YOUR SEEDLINGS!!

6. Wait and Watch Think the work is done? WRONG!! Plants need lots of water, but not too much. Don’t drown. Keep the weeds out of the garden. Watch your plants grow.

7. HARVEST WHAT YOU SOW After 45 days or more, depending on your plants, you will be able to pick your produce and EAT!! Be sure to enjoy what you and Mother Nature have grown together.
