2. What is Edgenuity?
Edgenuity is a research-based video course curriculum, which offers more than 185 semester- equivalent core and elective online courses for students, grades The program can be used at home or in school

3. How will it work with my student?
Students will be enrolled in the class, just like their other classes---Roll will be taken
Students will meet every Tuesday from 3-4 in Room 262
Students must also work from home to complete the courses

4. ABSENCES AND TARDIES
Missing THREE total appointments warrants a drop from the program
If a student is in class during the regular school day, they are expected to be in the after school class
Three tardies = 1 absence

5. VARIABLE CREDITS
If the student does not finish the entire course by the end date (TBD— May 2015), variable credits will be given and the student may finish next year—unless the student is a senior, in which case the student would not graduate if not finished by the end date.

6. Checking my student’s progress:
The program will automatically send updates every Monday morning to the addresses that you provide

7. CURRENT GRADE IN THE COURSE HOW MUCH OF THE COURSE IS COMPLETED

8. THE FAMILY PORTAL
The Family Portal feature must be enabled by your student’s teacher/admin. An access code will be provided to you by the teacher/admin to use in the registration process
