1  To present & evaluate our group project challenge, which was to make a red book from ‘This is your life’ for one of the religious leaders.  To complete a worksheet whilst presentations are taking place.  Sit with your groups, with your ‘This is your life’ book.  Everybody needs a worksheet.  Each group will be called to the front of the classroom, to explain about the religious leader that they have been researching.  The teacher might ask you to answer the questions that you were given at the start of the project or they might ask you to talk about the religious leader that you have researched.  Each member of the group needs to contribute to the presentation.  Whilst you are watching presentations you have a worksheet to fill in:  The worksheet has a section for each religious leader.  Each section has some questions that you need to answer  Each section also has a box asking for interesting facts – you need to write AT LEAST 2 interesting facts in these boxes as you listen to the presentations. You are communicating & working with others…

2 1. What skills have you developed in this project?  In your books draw a brainstorm with the question above in the centre.  Then, think of everything that you have done during this project.  Brainstorm all the skills that you feel you have developed – think about the key skills in particular.  For each skill that you include on your brainstorm, give an example of when you’ve used it during the project. 2. Group evaluation  With the group that you worked with for the project discuss how well you feel you worked, how well you worked together, how pleased you are with the end result etc  Then, as a group evaluate your work by giving yourselves…  The 2 stars are for 2 things that as a group you feel you did well.  The wish is for, if you did this project again (or something similar) what do you wish you could do differently? 3. Self evaluation  Now, evaluate your own work by giving yourself 2 stars & a wish. 4. Swap worksheets to mark your answers You are communicating, working with others & improving your own learning & performance…

3  For homework, you need to think about the religious leader that you have researched in this project, you also need to think about the things that we talked about at the start of this topic about what makes a good leader.  You need to write a paragraph (or more if you want to!) about whether you think the religious leader you researched was a good leader or not.  Make sure that you refer to the characteristics that we said make a good leader.  Make sure that you also explain all of your opinions.
