2. Step I. Brief Introduction Albert Einstein(1879-1955) was a mathematical physician. He was born in Ulm( 乌尔姆镇 ), Germany on March 14, 1879. The family managed to send him to a technical school and later to the Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland. In 1901, when Einstein was 22 years old, he began teaching and the next year he went to work in a government office. With his pay, Einstein went on with his education at the University of Zurich. About 1905, he began researching on the Theory of Relativity. In 1921, he won the Nobel Prize for Physics. Then he went to America, and taught at an Institute for advanced study at Princeton, New Jersey. In 1940, he became an American citizen.
