3. SURVEY RESULTS: What kind of UNDAF innovations are underway? 3 Most innovations model Real Time Monitoring or Human Centered Designs. The “Other” option includes primarily micro narratives or community consultations used in Eastern and Southern Africa.

4. SURVEY RESULTS: What does UNDAF innovation contribute to? 4 Most innovations collect more information on the most vulnerable in order to create a process that engages more people and a better understanding of the reality of the people we serve.

5. SURVEY RESULTS: Which part of the UNDAF cycle do countries want to innovate most? 5 Results Based Management, Strategic Planning & CCA’s are seen as areas where UN country teams plan to innovate in the next three years.

SURVEY RESULTS: Which part of the guidance most needs an update? 6 Result Based Management/ Monitoring and Evaluation is not only the area where country teams plan to innovate the most but also where they ask for the biggest update. Updating expenditure tracking is also seen as crucial to respond to new ways of governments’ strategic planning.
