2  Automobiles have been around for many years, centuries even.  In 1876 Nicholas Otto patented the four-stroke engine.  By 1886 Carl Benz patented the world’s first practical motorcar  Finally in 1895 the word “automobile” was coined

3  In 1903 Ford Motor Company was formed followed Chevrolet Motor Company in 1911  By 1918 Chevrolet joined General Motors. And in 1928 Chrysler took over Dodge.

4  In 1911 the self starter was invented and by 1916 brake lights were installed.  In 1917 the all-steel wheel was developed and air conditioning was first offered by Nash Motor Company in 1939  Sealed beam headlights were first installed in 1940.

5  In 1903 Ford motor Company was formed, and by 1908 ford’s model T was introduced.  In 1963 Ford Mustang is released followed by the ford Taurus introduced in 1985 and the Jaguar cars LTD in 1989  By 1999 Swedish automaker Volvo is acquired in a $6.45 billion deal

6  The first gasoline car in America was built in February 1893 by Charles and Frank Duryea  This gasoline car was running road trials by September 1893  This area of interaction is environment.  The gasoline car has everything to do with environment simply because the fumes given off by gasoline cars are not beneficial to the environment

7  The automobilechanged the world for the better, to this day people are still driving cars  Automobiles changed the way people got to and from places and the way they interact with on another  Without automobiles people would probably be lost since the population has become dependent on automobiles.

8  By 2001 hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles were finally mass produced.  There are now electric cars and even a flying car.  There are so many advancements and improvements done to this invention.
