11 How did the Native Americans influence the colonists and vice versa?

12 Indians taught colonists how to grow crops and make maple sugar as well as hunt for meat and skins to survive the winter. Indians also shared foods with the colonists and helped them by expanding trade.

13 The colonists gave the Indians diseases, and took away their land by pushing them out, but also made trades.
