3 The Process of Finding Places and Businesses  This tutorial will focus on the basics of searching for places and businesses on Google Earth.  We will describe how you can search for locations like your house, businesses, schools, and major landmarks.

5 Searching For Addresses in Google Earth 1.Enter the appropriate address in the Search panel (A). 2.Click the Search icon (B). Google Earth will display the results in 3- D view and fly to the location. 3.Click the X icon to clear the search panel (C). 1.Enter the appropriate address in the Search panel (A). 2.Click the Search icon (B). 6 Finding Dave & Buster’s Restaurant 1.Insert the appropriate business name in the What field (A). 2.Enter a location such as City & State in the Where field (A). 3.Click the Search icon (B). Google Earth displays matching business listings. The 3-D viewer pans out to reveal all these listings. 4.Click the appropriate place mark in the search results or the 3-D viewer. Google Earth displays an Information Bubble in the 3-D viewer (C) Tip: If you want to find a particular business, but do not know the address, you can just enter the name, and the search engine will display the top 10 matches for that business entry. 7 Finding Directions Using Google Earth 1.Manually enter valid location searches in From and To box in the Directions tab(A). Ex: “Universities at Shady Grove” (To) and “Dave and Buster’s” (from) 2.Click the Search button (B). The route and turn-by-turn directions appear in the search listing window below the search input (C). 3.View the highlighted route in the 3-D viewer along with textual information guiding your every turn (D). Tip: You can click on Camera icons along your highlighted path to reveal real life view of the rout to give you a visual of not only the rout but also businesses and landmarks along the way. A B C D

This is an unique software that is constantly updating its information so that the users will have the latest most up to date information at their disposal. With its easy to understand instructions and user friendly functions, Google Earth has revolutionized how people will navigate not only here in the United States but all around the world.
