5. I’m a Minoan Snake Goddess. What things can you tell about Minoan civilization from this artifact? Polytheistic: Believed in many gods. Advanced civilization: Intricate workmanship in the artifact.

There are some who believe that the Minoan civilization was destroyed by a tidal wave – or by a volcanic eruption – or an earthquake – and that it sank into the sea. Legends persist to this day about the “Lost City of Atlantis” – a fabulous advanced, but ancient, civilization that sank into the sea.
