5. Cody wants to always eat the largest fish around. When his mouth is open and pointing to the largest fish, it looks just like the greater than symbol.

6. Check It Out! When reading a problem, it is just like reading a book. Read the problem from left to right so the symbols make sense. Use a < sign to say less than. Use a > sign to say greater than. Use an = sign to say equal to.
