36 Cycloalkanes Cycloalkanes are alkanes that contain a ring of three or more carbons. Count the number of carbons in the ring, and add the prefix cyclo to the IUPAC name of the unbranched alkane that has that number of carbons. CyclopentaneCyclohexane
