2  Born: June 21, 1731  Was married to Captain Daniel Parks Custis when she was 18, but he died in 1757.  She met George Washington that same year (1757) and was later engaged.  She is most remembered for joining her husband at Valley Forge  Died: May 22, 1802

3  Born: May 20, 1768  Married John Todd, but he and her youngest child died as a result of a plague in Philadelphia  Was introduced to James Madison by Aaron Burr  Is most remembered for saving the portrait of George Washington when the British were burning the Capitol during the War of 1812  Died: July 12, 1849

4  Born: December 13, 1818  Married Abe Lincoln on November 4, 1842  Prodded Lincoln to study law  Her son, Robert Todd, attempted to have her declared “legally incompetent”  Died: July 16, 1882

5  Born: October 11, 1884  Married Franklin Roosevelt on March 17, 1905  Worked tirelessly for the poor while her husband was in office  Once served hot dogs to the king and queen of England  Is one of the most famous humanitarians known  Died: November 7, 1962

6  Born: October 26, 1947  Went to Yale University where she met Bill
