2. 9/17/08 RandoNode IT Conference 2 Introduction OPEN Data Service is a data retrieval service that exposes the form metadata used within OPEN Portal and the registration’s clinical data that was entered through OPEN Portal. This web service was generated using caCORE SDK 4.0. Going forward CTSU will use these web services to expose almost all the data captured through OPEN Portal for the corresponding Group’s use.

3. 9/17/08 RandoNode IT Conference 3 Goal The goal of this session is to cover an example of what would happen when a new clinical data request comes in from OPEN Portal and the RandoNode realizes that the clinical data does not match the metadata version. For testing purposes we have added a new custom question called “New Test Question” to the existing NSABP-B-42 Step 1 form and have regenerated the corresponding metadata with a version date of 09/12/2008.
