3. The Caddo The Caddo made pottery.
The Caddo started about 3,000 years ago.
The Caddo use to live in bee shaped houses.

4. The Karankawa The Karankawa lived on the coast.
They were good fighters.
They would make up myths

5. The Comanche The Comanche got there first horses in 1680.
The Comanche group in the 1700 moved to New Mexico.
They had 12 bands, but probably more latter

Alonso Pineda. Piñeda came to Texas to find a place to settle. He made the first map of the Texas coastline.
Christopher Columbus. Columbus wanted to land in Asia. But he landed in America instead.
La Salle. Salle named Louisiana after his king Lousi.

Hernando Soto. Soto reached Mississippi River. But he died soon after.

7. Chistopher Columbus He sailed India hoping to find gold loot.
He had helpers. And they landed on the island Guanahani.
He and his helpers sailed on ships named. La Nina, La Pinta and La Santa Maria.

8. Francisco Coronado Coronado was very rich.
Someone told him that there was a city of gold but there was no gold.
He spent a lot of time and money looking for gold.

9. Hernando Cortes Cortes was 14 when he went to university of Salamanca.
He married a girl named Dona Zaniga and had 4 kids
He took 10 ships and sailed off to Trinidad.

10. Cabeza de vaca and the Coahuiltecans
Cabeza and the Coahuiltecans had to eat weird food.
The Coahuitecans styed warm by making fires.
They would usually use deer for their homes.
They would have to keep a eye.
