3 Winslow Homer was an American landscape painter and printmaker self-taught, Homer began his career working as a commercial illustrator created oil paintings and watercolors created 600 works of art in 1998, Homer’s painting “Lost on the Grand Banks” sold for approximately 30 million dollars
