8. Introduction O Dear Michelle Kwan, O When I recall my childhood the hero I always think of is you. Some people may wonder, why would someone consider an ice skater a hero? As proof that you are my hero I have three reasons: you are inspiring, brave, and caring. I can see all of these throughout your ice skating career, but also through your charity work, words, and actions in your daily life.
