NOTE: Al Islam Team takes full responsibility for any errors or miscommunication in this Synopsis of the Friday Sermon Sermon Delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba); Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community relayed live all across the globe 27 th Sep, 2013 Ahmadiyyat in Singapore, Indonesia and Malayasia

Summary Hazrat Khalifatul Masih delivered his Friday sermon from Ta Ha Mosque, Singapore. Due to the persecution of Indonesian Ahmadis, the Jama’at was introduced on a large scale around the world. The worse the enemy gets in opposition, steadfastness of Ahmadis increases to a an even greater extent. Allah the Exalted knows we are Muslims and our hearts are full of love of Allah the Exalted and the Holy Prophet pbuh No individual, religion, no sect, no government and no court of law has the ownership of Allah. We have to show the world the true teachings of Islam the beautiful aspects of the life and blessed character of the Holy Prophet pbuh 27 th Sep, 2013

Because of anti- Ahmadiyya circumstances in Malaysia and Indonesia, it is difficult for Huzoor to visit these countries. Allah the Exalted, however, has granted an opportunity to meet members of these Jama’ats in Singapore. Along with some non-Ahmadis, over three thousand Ahmadis visited Singapore from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and the Philippines to see Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) 27 th Sep, 2013 Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said

‘The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was sent down as a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance and discrimination. Therefore, whosoever of you is present at home in this month, let him fast therein. But whoso is sick or is on a journey, shall fast the same number of other days. Allah desires to give you facility and He desires not hardship for you, and that you may complete the number, and that you may exalt Allah for His having guided you and that you may be grateful.’ (2:186) We are grateful to all the organisations or individuals who spoke up against the persecution of Jama’at. These heinous acts are condemned by the fair-minded local and International media. The Ahmadiyya Mosques are attacked, Jama’at property is damaged, Ahmadis are martyred in a barbaric fashion under the supervision of police. In Indonesia, Ahmadis have been intensely persecuted for sometime now. 27 th Sep, 2013 Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said

A great and scholarly person from Africal accepted Ahmadiyyat after seeing the video of barbaric murder of three innocent Ahmadis; he said that such cruelty can only be perpetrated against true believers It is the way of Allah the Exalted that He grants good results of every episode of persecution of the Jama’at. Due to the persecution of Indonesian Ahmadis, the Jama’at was introduced on a large scale around the world. A particularly barbaric persecution resulted in Bai’ats in Indonesia and in many areas of the world Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

Persecution is carried out in the name of God Whose teaching is replete with the commandments about paying the dues of mankind Who gives Muslims the teaching of compassion and justice Ahmadis are persecuted in the name of the Prophet who was ‘mercy for all the worlds’, who forbade cruelty even during the battle Barbaric persecution of Ahmadis is worst in Pakistan and then in Indonesia; all this in the name of God and His Prophet (pbuh). 7 27 th sep, 2013 Ahmadis who say the Kalima ( declaration of faith) are being persecuted in Pakistan against the teaching of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) The Prophet ( pbuh ) was most displeased with his Companion for killing a person who had recited the Kalima ( during war) When the Companion said that the Kafir had uttered the Kalima out of fear of the sword, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) asked him, did you see the inside of his heart? Sadly, people who utter the Kalima are being persecuted in the name of the Kalima! 8 It is a grace of Allah the Exalted that such atrocious persecutions only enhance Ahmadis in steadfastness Ahmadiyyat is the true Islam which is embedded in our hearts and no amount of opposition can take away the strong roots of our faith. Ahmadiyyat has shown us ways of progression of faith from which the non-Ahmadi Muslims are unfamiliar. Ahmadis should remember that believers are like a body. If one suffers pain the other also feels the pain. This is why the pain of Ahmadis living in countries where persecution is taking place should be felt by every Ahmadi around the world. 9 Enhance your faith and remain steadfast in spite all opposition and hostility Every Ahmadi should pay attention to improving his faith As fortitude comes with the grace of Allah the Exalted, to attain His grace pay the dues of His worship Pray for Fortitude If there is no progression in [individuals’] Ahmadiyyat, then there is no point in being an Ahmadi. Every Ahmadi should self-reflect Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said Allah the Exalted knows we are Muslims and we know that we are better Muslims than the others; we know that our hearts are full of love of Allah the Exalted and the Holy Prophet (pbuh). Muslim organisations have put up signboards all over Malaysia that say that ‘Qadianis’ are not Muslims, hurting sentiments of Ahmadis. This is against the teachings of Islam The Holy Prophet (pbuh) says that anyone who professes Kalima is a Muslim....the Holy Qur’an even states not to tell a person who says Salaam to you that he is not a believer. In fact he said that one who only says ‘there is no God but Allah’ is a Muslim 27 th Sep, 2013

There has been unfortunate incidence in Malaysia, where Muslims raised hue and cry over a Christian priest saying that it is alright for Christians to use the term Allah because He is also their Allah... the matter was taken to the court. Unfortunately the court decided that only Muslims can use the term Allah and no one else has the right to say that Allah belongs to them. These worldly people restricted Allah’s name in the name of Allah! Whereas, Allah the Exalted states: ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.’ (1:2) that is, He is the Lord of everyone, whether Muslim or non-Muslim. 12 Just as a Muslim has the right to say Allah, so does a Christian and anyone else. Allah the Exalted states about the Christians : ‘Say, ‘O People of the Book! come to a word equal between us and you — that we worship none but Allah…’ (3:65) That is, the commonality/common value between Muslims and Christians is the Being of Allah the Exalted. Allah stated in the Holy Qur’an through the earlier Prophets that: ‘Allah, your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers of old?’ (37:127) Thus, how can Muslims have ownership of Allah? He also states: ‘Allah enlarges His provisions for whomsoever He pleases…’ (13:27) Is someone else providing for Christians, Jews or the others? 13 Today only Ahmadis can inform the world about the teachings of true Islam, the truth about the Being and station of Allah the Exalted and the teachings of the Holy Qur’an. It is for the Ahmadis of Malaysia to astutely inform their countrymen about the teachings of Islam.. … and to make them see that they are bringing the beautiful teachings of Islam in disrepute by following the so-called Ulema (religious scholars). May Allah the Exalted remove their veils of ignorance. 14 Ahmadis should extend their Tabligh work with judiciousness and take the message of Islam, that is true Islam to all strata of society The situation is good here. The Government here does not allow opposition of religion and gives freedom to state the positive points of one’s religion. Message to Ahmadis of Singapore The Ahmadis should remember that whether the situation is good or bad, we have to press on to show the real teachings of Islam to the world Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

Allah the Exalted states that it is a blessed model for true Muslims He is a perfect exemplar for us in domestic matters, societal matters, matters dealing with outsiders and matters pertaining to dealing with other nations and countries. When presenting the true facet of ‘mercy for all the worlds’ to the world, we ourselves have to demonstrate a model of love and brotherhood we also have to put [his ways] in practice and attract the others with our practices. We need to present the life and blessed character of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to the world Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Persecution in Malaysia Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

. Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Allah the Exalted is not a trademark Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said We have to tell the world that in order to help understand the teachings of the Holy Qur’an in this age Allah the Exalted has sent the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace) He was the true and ardent devotee of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) … and unless one is connected to him, one cannot truly understand these teaching. 27 th Sep, 2013

Every Ahmadi should be grateful for the grace of Allah the Exalted that He has enabled us to accept the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (on whom be peace) in accordance with the prophecy of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) To express our gratitude, we have to try and adapt our wishes according to the teaching of Islam, sacrifice our emotions and work hard to understand the true teaching. We should watch MTA regularly and make a point of listening to the Friday sermon regularly. There is a great need to pay attention to this. Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Allah the Exalted is not a trademark Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

‘It is important to continue scrutinising the declaration that is given: ‘I will give preference to faith over worldly matters’ and then present a fine example of it in your practical life.’ ‘God’s succour comes to those alone who always step up in piety and do not stay stagnant. It is these whose ending is good.’ ‘Allah the Exalted has taught the prayer in the Holy Qur’an: ‘…make my seed righteous for me…’ (46:16), that is, also reform my wife and children. While praying for one’s condition to go through pure changes, one should also pray for one’s children and wife because often man faces problems arising due to wife and children.’ Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Allah the Exalted is not a trademark Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

‘It is needed that your practices should bear witness to you being an Ahmadi.’ ‘Our Jama’at should remember very well not to forget Allah the Exalted under any circumstances. Help should be sought from Him at all times. Man is nothing without Him.’ We all need to self-reflect.. How hard we try to bring about a pure change in ourselves … do we make a concerted effort to connect our children to the Jama’at.. to what extent are we trying to practice the teaching of the Holy Qur’an Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Allah the Exalted is not a trademark Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013

We should follow the teachings of the Holy Quran in such a manner that we become practical examples of good Muslims and we attract other Muslims and opponents of Islam to the teachings of Islam If we are attaining such standards then InshaAllah we will gain us nearness to Allah the Exalted, we will also increase in numbers and opposition of the Jama’at will one day be blown away in the wind May Allah the Exalted enhance all of you and me in faith and may He keep all of you in His protection every minute and demolish the schemes of the enemy Persecution in Indonesia Persecution in Pakistan Self reflect and improve Allah the Exalted is not a trademark Tabligh work The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said 27 th Sep, 2013
