Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated an account from the life of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) Sufi sahib told the Promised Mesiah (peace be on him) that through the power of mesmerism he can make the man walking behind him to fall. Sufi Ahmad Jan sahib was convinced that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (on whom be peace) was the Promised Messiah even before his claim. He advised his children to accept Hazrat Mirza Sahib when he made his claim. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) asked, Sufi Sahib, if the man were to fall over, how would it benefit you or him? The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) once visited Soofi Ahmad Jan sahib, who had attained the power of mesmerism through serving a pir. Sufi Ahmad Jan sahib understood the worldly nature of this skill and decided to give-up mesmerising others. Once a Hindu came to Mubarak Mosque with the intention to mesmerise the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) He said that he tried and used all his power but could not mesmerise the promised Messiah (peace be on him). He later wrote to apologise for his impertinence and said he had not recognised the high station of the Promised Messiah. Power of resolve which man learns by himself is like child’s play when compared to power of resolve granted by God. 5. Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) said that it is important to absorb all truths in order to progress as a community. The belief of Jesus being alive, is indicative of Jesus’ excellence over the Holy Prophet (pbuh) Secondly the idea of Jesus alive in heaven affects the concept of unity of God. The Promised Messiah (peace be on him) used to teach about the death of Jesus in most passionate manner, as if he was reclaiming the throne of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) from Jesus (on whom be peace). It is not simply sufficient to accept death of Jesus (on whom be peace) in fact one should try and understand why is it important to accept it! 6. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) used to say that when he comes across many people he becomes aware of the hidden failings or good qualities of the persons. But he did not have the permission to disclose this to the people. It is the way of God that unless and until a person himself causes his failings to be disclosed he is not considered guilty. Prophets of God and their followers also do not disclose the inner failings of others unless people own actions manifest their true nature. When God grants a high spiritual station to someone He Himself guides them. As atheism is rampant in the time of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) God has shown many signs for him in support of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). One sign is that of a student named Abdul Karim who had travelled from Hyderabad Deccan to receive religious studies in Qadian. He was bitten by a rabid dog. He developed the signs of Rabies after initial treatment. The Promised Messiah (peace be on him) prayed for him and Abdul Karim got better. This is the one and only case of recovery at such a late stage of Rabies. April 17 th 2015 Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that although the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said there were hundreds of thousands of signs in his corroboration, Hazrat Musleh Maud felt the signs were in fact countless. ‘So many people will come to you that the track by which they come will deepen. The man asked the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) to show a miracle. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) replied that you are one of my miracles; this is because God had told me that people from all over the world will come to visit me and you are visisting a small town of Qadian from the USA Once two men and a woman from USA visited the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). The man asked the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) to show a miracle. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) replied that you are one of my miracles; this is because God had told me that people from all over the world will come to visit me and you are visisting a small town of Qadian from the USA

9. Those with understanding know that hundreds of thousands of signs could be deduced from a single revelation of the Promised Messiah. The wise see great signs of God even in small matters. Indeed, the entire locality of Qadian is a sign of the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). All Ahmadis, our mosques, schools, hospitals, Jamia and Jalsa; all are the signs of truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as) for those with wisdom. May God give insight to those who do not see the signs of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) and may He also make us stronger in faith by the minute ameen.
